Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using InvoiceSorter.app. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Sport group d.o.o. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Slovenia with its registered office at Osojnikova 4, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia, VAT ID: SI72133449, governing your use of the InvoiceSorter.app website and service (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

InvoiceSorter.app is a cloud-based invoice management platform that:

  • Connects to your Gmail account via Google OAuth 2.0 with read-only access
  • Scans your emails to identify invoice-related messages
  • Uses AI to extract structured invoice metadata (vendor, amount, date, invoice number)
  • Displays extracted invoice data in a dashboard with analytics and insights
  • Enables export of invoice data to Google Drive, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, DATEV, CSV, and PDF

Important: InvoiceSorter.app does not store your Gmail emails, attachments, or personal messages. We only extract and store structured invoice metadata. All exports go directly to your own cloud storage or accounting tools. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

3. Eligibility

To use InvoiceSorter.app, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • Have a valid Google/Gmail account
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
  • If using the Service on behalf of a business entity, have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms

4. Account Registration & Security

You create an account by authenticating with your Google account via OAuth 2.0. By doing so, you:

  • Grant us read-only access to your Gmail account for the purpose of invoice extraction
  • Agree that the information provided through Google OAuth is accurate and current
  • Are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials
  • Must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • May not share your account or allow others to access it

You may revoke Gmail access at any time through your Google Account settings. You may also delete your InvoiceSorter account at any time through the dashboard settings.

5. Plans, Pricing & Payment

5.1 Subscription Plans

5.2 Free Plan

The Free plan is available at no charge, with no credit card required, no hidden fees, and no expiration date. It is limited to 5 invoices per month and 1 connected Gmail account. The Free plan is offered for personal use, freelancers, and evaluation purposes. We reserve the right to modify Free plan features with 30 days' notice.

5.3 Free Trial

All paid plans include a 7-day free trial with full access to all features of the selected plan. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you will be prompted to select a plan. If you do not select a paid plan, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan.

5.4 Invoice Credits

You may purchase additional invoice credits at any time. Credits are available in packs of 50, 100, or 500 and never expire. Credits are consumed when invoices are processed beyond your monthly plan limit. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable between accounts.

5.5 Payment Terms

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis depending on your selected billing cycle.
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.
  • Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT/GST). Tax will be calculated based on your billing address.
  • For Enterprise customers, we can arrange invoicing and bank transfers upon request.
  • You authorize us to charge your selected payment method on each billing cycle renewal.

5.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time. If we change the pricing of your current plan, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via email. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period. You may cancel your subscription before the new pricing takes effect.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

6.1 Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard settings.
  • Upon cancellation, your paid plan remains active until the end of your current billing period.
  • After your billing period ends, your account will revert to the Free plan.
  • Your invoice data will be retained for 90 days after downgrade, after which it may be deleted unless you are on the Free plan.
  • You can export all your data before cancellation at no additional cost.

6.2 Refund Policy

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with InvoiceSorter.app for any reason within the first 30 days of your initial paid subscription, contact our support team for a full refund. This guarantee applies to your first subscription payment only.

Refund requests after 30 days will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Invoice credit purchases are non-refundable. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • xViolate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • xUpload, transmit, or process any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • xAttempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or other users' accounts
  • xUse the Service for fraudulent activity, money laundering, or any illegal purpose
  • xReverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • xScrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service in a way that exceeds reasonable use
  • xResell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent
  • xCircumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service
  • xUse the Service to process data that you do not have the right to access
  • xImpersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation with any person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you are violating this Acceptable Use Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, algorithms, trademarks, logos, and all related content, is owned by Sport group d.o.o. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.

8.2 Your Data

You retain full ownership of your data, including any invoice data extracted through the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. We only use your data to provide and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

8.3 Feedback

If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, modify, and incorporate such feedback into the Service without any obligation to you.

9. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance (we will provide advance notice when possible)
  • Emergency maintenance or security patches
  • Third-party service outages (Google APIs, Stripe, hosting providers)
  • Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice for any material changes that may negatively impact your use of the Service. You can check real-time service status at System Status.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

  • The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or meet your specific requirements.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-extracted invoice data. You are responsible for verifying all extracted data before relying on it for financial decisions.
  • In no event shall Sport group d.o.o., its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
  • Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liability. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sport group d.o.o. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

  • Your use or misuse of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights
  • Any data or content you process through the Service

12. Third-Party Services & Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party services including Google Gmail API, Google Drive, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, DATEV, Stripe, and OpenAI. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies:

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party services. Any issues with third-party services should be directed to the respective service provider.

13. Account Termination

13.1 Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time through your dashboard settings. Upon deletion, we will remove your account data and all associated invoice metadata within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We recommend exporting your data before deleting your account.

13.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
  • Your account is used for fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Your payment method fails and is not updated within 14 days
  • Your account has been inactive for more than 24 months (Free plan only)
  • We are required to do so by law or legal process

We will provide reasonable notice before termination (except in cases of fraud, abuse, or legal requirements) and allow you to export your data.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Informal Resolution: Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to first contact us at legal@invoicesorter.app to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will try to resolve the dispute within 30 days.

Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings arising from or related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Maribor, Slovenia.

EU Consumers: If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.

Online Dispute Resolution: The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

15. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sport group d.o.o. regarding the Service.

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.

  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

  • Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, wars, pandemics, government actions, internet outages).

  • Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
